Prom + After Prom

My sister didn't have the camera on the right settings so my promenade picture came out less than optimal :/

Honestly, I had more fun at after-prom than I did at the actual prom (despite the fact that the decorations were beautiful). I don't know if anyone else's school does this, but in order to cut down on outside partying and underage drinking my school hosts an after prom event from 1-5am and there were those blow up obstacle course games and karaoke (which I participated in) and a few casino games.

Honestly, like I said in my last post, I don't regret going to prom--- just for the simple fact that at least I can say that I didn't like it, as opposed to thinking that I had missed out on something. Also, Em is right. We need a blogger family prom :)

  1. I think after-prom is a great idea! My school does a similar thing for graduation. Basically it's a party from 10 pm until 6 am to limit outside partying, underage drinking and drunk driving.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to Prom. I may ask my friend Stephen to go, or if he would go see a movie with me instead. Math Bowl is the same day and so is Relay For Life. I just don't know. I have a free ticket, though!

    BEDA 2012!

P.S. I would totally participate in blogger family prom. :)

  2. Blogger family prom sounds so much better than actual prom. But at least you got to dress up in funny outfits in those pictures, haha. I'm pretty sure mine ends at 11 PM which is kind of ridiculous, and there's no after prom event as far as I know, but I'm sure my friends and I will come up with something to do.

  3. A BLOGGER FAMILY PROM IS THE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD.

Also, we don't have an after-prom thing, but we do have Project Graduation, which is an award to seniors, but also a deterrent like your After Prom.

  5. I think after-prom events are becoming more common these days. You did get some enjoyment though, which is always good :)
