Graduated.

Somehow I managed to have the most cords out of everyone (5 total), plus my top 10% honors medal, and my Texas Globe Scholars medal.  Needless to say I had mucho grad swag. Win. Also, when it came time to walk across the stage my superintendent was met with a handful of glitter when I shook her hand.  Beforehand I had distributed handfuls of glitter to about 30 different people.

After the ceremony I had a huge canister of glitter that I then proceeded to shower every passing person with. Needless to say, everyone is still trying to get glitter out of their hair.

  1. Congratulations! Wow, SO MUCH grad swag. That is pretty fantastic, Lizzi. Also, this makes me want to implement a glitter extravaganza at my graduation ceremony. :)

(Also, creepy captcha. Mentira obediently. Mentira = lie in Spanish, right? Ooooh.)

  2. CONGRATULATIONS, LIZZI! I only had four cords (I think?) and my Salutatorian medal so you got me beat. Time to see how many Natalie, Karen and Maggie R have up their sleeve (er, around their necks?)

You'll have to let me know if your card reached you yet; I should hope it has.

I was wondering what your glitter post on Facebook was about...and now I know. That's an awesome way to end the year. :)

  3. You did indeed come away with quite a lot of stuff there. Congratulations both on getting all of that, and on graduating :)

    PS I love the glitter.

  5. The whole wisdom tooth removal procedure definitely sucks, but it's bearable. I think the most painful part of it for me now is my jaw, which has been sore since the surgery, which I'm presuming to be from whatever lovely device they used to keep my mouth cranked open. I remember nothing about it though, so my advice is to take the pre-opt sedative, and ask for laughing gas for extra coverage :P. I was hanging out with my friends again the next day.

Congrats on the graduation! Grad swag is bomb ;). I like how you made sure everyone got their share of glitter, I wish someone did that at my graduation. Good luck on the next phase--which looks to be air force training? That takes some guts, I wish you luck!
