Oh man.

My lips are raw because I've been unconsciously biting them all day. I didn't notice I was doing it until I went home and had some lemonade. Let me tell ya' my lips burned like a mother lover. Also, the skin around my nails are ragged and gross nasty.

It's only Monday and the stress is already starting to set in. EVERY day after school I'm doing something. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I have so much to do, and so little time to do it.

I am finishing the yearbook this week, even if it kills me (which it kind of is right now) and I WILL finish another piece of artwork by next week, and my entire senior portfolio by April 20th. Even if it kills me.

I will do everything. I may just not have lips come May.

  1. I always bite my nails. And the skin around my nails. Seriously, my fingers would make a manicurist-personface faint. Not that I'd ever go to such a place, cos I'm such a manly man.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, people say everything is bad for you. Next thing you'll hear, biting your nails causes cancer and type 2 diabetes. Just brush it off.

And don't work too hard *wink*.

  2. I never really bite my nails, even when I'm stressed it just seems gross, plus they don't taste nice. I have pulled the skin off my lip a few times though. But stay sane-ish! Not long left to go just keep at it for a bit longer.

  3. My lips are in a perpetual state of chewed-up-ness. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm poorly hydrated though, because I'm fairly anxiety-free.

You're so close!! Keep it up!

  4. You can do it!! I have faith in you! And who needs lips? Or nails. Or... Skin... Hmmm...

Good luck and try to remember to take breathers. I don't you need you working yourself to death!

  5. I've never bit my nails or anything like that, but stress gives me migraines. Luckily running solves that, although sometimes running also leads to more stress because I'm trying to squeeze an hour of that into an already busy day. Example: I can leave school at 2:00, I have to be back at 4:00 until 11:00 for musical rehearsal. I have to run for an hour, take a shower, eat dinner, and do all of my homework between then.... yeah if I didn't run that would make it way easier, but I'd also end up killing someone, probably. Sigh. WE WILL ALL GET THROUGH THIS. I SWEAR.

  7. Painting my nails helped me not bite them! And then I stopped altogether! And ahhh, lemonade on a raw lip. Ouchie.

  8. Don't feel bad! I do the same thing except with my nails when I'm really stressed out! Ugh, I hate it though! Hope you don't feel too stressed! <3

  9. When I'm stressed I'm really fidgety. Like, I cannot sit or stand still.

Also, my speech is really... uh... convoluted.
