Just a side note

Do you ever get these unbelievable lows?

Like a feeling of infinite sadness that comes out of nowhere?

From talking to most of my friends, it seems to be pretty normal.  I don't know if I find this fact comforting, or alarming. Is it all the hormone riddled food we were given as children?  Or perhaps as a generation we're more open about our feelings...

But yeah. Just wondering.

  1. Most, if not all, people go through it. It's a stage of growing up I think. I know I went through it, and I was around the same age you are now.

I wouldn't worry about it. We all go through it and come out the other side.

  2. Yes, I have. I've felt like I was making an impossible uphill climb. Yet then again I have my moments where I am full to bursting with happiness. I am essentially high on life and can't contain my glee.

You'll bounce back, although the verb "bounce" is entirely misleading.

    Love you.

  3. I get them a sadly large amount. I'll just be sat there doing something then all over a sudden, super depression out of nowhere. I've theorised that it's part of my inability to be happy for an extended period of time.

  4. I get them very frequently but I'm sure you'll get over them as quickly as you got into them x

  5. Yeah, that happens sometimes. I have periods where they build up because of extended periods of lacking sleep or food and I end up having a crisis and crying to a friend or stranger or something fun like that over essentially nothing.

It's a weird mixture between comforting and awful to remember that sudden bursts of infinite sadness are pretty normal.

  6. I think it's part of being human. Low lows come, and we wallow for a bit, and then pick ourselves up. What's important is picking ourselves up again :)

  7. It's normal. :) I think the best thing to do when you don't want to do anything and feel like giving up is to get up and keep going. You can do it! Many hugs.
