Today I received my second summer assignment.
Cue cheers and confetti!
I'm a little apprehensive about having to read two books for AP English (literature), but I think I can handle it. We had a list to pick from and one of the books I picked was As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, which luckily I've already read, so I should only need to brush up on it.
My summer projects for AP Environmental Science actually don't seem that bad. I have to pick three endangered species and do a report on each one, and then make a display featuring the three species. I plan on knocking it out (hopefully) in the next three weeks. I've already picked out the ones I'm doing and they're the Ocelot, Big-leaf Mahogany, and Visayan Deer.
Ahhhhh plus all the yearbook stuff that I just remembered... The perks of being co-Editor!
On the first day of school there is going to be a big test over the reading, and my Enviro projects are counting as two major grades.... FUN!
Oh well, I can handle it :)
What about you guys still in school? I can't be the only one with summer homework....?!
We haven't had our AP meetings yet, but I'm anticipating a ton for English and Biology... hopefully none for Calc or else I'll really be saddened. :P Summer work is kind of really mean. I'm definitely going to try to get it all out of the way ASAP (yeah right...)
ReplyDeleteOh I remember the days of summer assignments. I used to save all the reading for the last month of school and then give up three days before school and spark note everything. Actually, I think I only did that with All The Kings Men since I couldn't even get past the first chapter of that book.
