The Perfect Guy

The perfect guy.

What a touchy subject. For each girl (or guy) it's different. I only now started thinking about it because my friend B had asked me what my type was.

It was quite sad when I couldn't instantly provide him with something of any value. All I could crank out was, "He can't be a prep." Of course, as per usual B kept on bugging me so I decided to actually sit down and type out what my perfect guy would be like.

The first point in being my perfect guy is you'd have to accept the fact that I like profesional wrestling. I'm not expecting every person on the planet to like it as much as I do, but it really bugs me when people diss on it and go on this rant about how it's all fake, and they don't really do anything. I've had guys say that to me, and each time I'm just like, "DUDE. It's staged, not fake. Get your facts strait, because there is a huge difference."

The next thing is he'd have to be into nerdy stuff like me. Now, I'm not saying he has to be into WoW, or anything, he's just got to have some sort of computer, or academic skills. I don't know about other girls, but being around a stupid guy is pretty boring for me. Making out is fun and all, but it's even more fun to geek out on the newest tech out there. 8 ]

Musical taste doesn't really phase me when it comes to guys because I pretty much listen to everything. The only thing that weirds me out is the Super Deathly Metal where they talk about raping dead girls and eating human fetuses. That crap is downright out there.

One important thing that I like in a relationship is debate. Yes you read right. Debate. Some may say, "Oh, so you want someone to fight with all the time?" However, debating and fighting are two totally different things. To me, debating over an issue usually consists of who walks the dog and buys the groceries, whereas fighting is like screaming over someting stupid like.... I dunno something stupid. The point I'm trying to make is, I don't like guys that are all like, "It's ok honey, I'll do all the housework for you." Because let's face it. After a while that would get really really really boring.

All in all, I'm not really that shallow, I mean let's face it. If they've got some mad musical skills, or they're just really funny I'm probably going to end liking them. Having fun and being able to party is important to me. I don't like deadbeat guys. However, when I say I'm not shallow I mainly mean that I'm not picky with guys when it comes to looks. Now, if were talking about celeb. guys like Gaspard Ulliel or Jeff Hardy, that's a total different story. I hate it when guys get jealous or mad that I like them. The whole time I'm just like, "DUDE. Chill out. They are famous, and there is no chance in hell I'm ever going to meet them, let alone date them."

So, is my perfect guy nonexistent? YES. Do I ever expect to come across anyone with the qualities I listed above? Yes, but they're only going to have one or two. It'd be ideal to find someone with
all of those qualities, but as we all know that's totally impossible. Ah, well one can dream right?

*EDITED AN HOUR LATER*

Ok, I've got to admit. I wouldn't mind dating a total douchebag if he had a super awesome mohawk. Those things are sexy and amazing, and would make my mom and dad sh-t their pants. LMAO.

Neon Dandylion

Ah, yes. I decided it was time I cranked out some new digital art Wallpaper. I wanted it to have an urban summer feel, but I don't know if it turned out the way I had planned. Oh well.

For more information on it, like the stock I used and such visit my DeviantArt submission here.

Er, I was supposed to have been working on this child fairy piece, but I kinda stuck it on the backburner. Hopefully I'll be able to start working on it again. Haha, well I'm off to redesign the blog. I've decided however, to wait until the school year starts to put it into effect.

Also, I've been thinking of putting a chatbox up.... I've used them before, but I don't know If I should start using them again....

Owwwch.

Oh MY Gawd. My calves are so sore right now. I think I might have to recharge them. They are, however rock hard. What a price to pay for muscled legs.

A piece of advice: Don't jump around for three hours straight.

Home Again, but Still Far Gone

Ok, So I'm back from camp. Right now all I want to do is go into overload and slap down details upon gruesome details of how each and every minute of my life was while at camp, but for the sake of anyone, and everyone reading this blog I won't.

I will however mention how a bunch of people at camp reminded me of people I know at home. A BUNCH. Haha, I even saw people that resembled celebrities, and then there were just some people that were too weird to forget.... so yeah.

The first person I think I should mention seeing is Deflated Mohawk Guy. Why do I call him that? Because at one point I knew his name, but I forgot it so now I'm just naming him after his appearance. Hey, it's better than calling him one shirt guy. I swear! He wore the same Adio shirt everyday!! Ah, well at least he was kinda cute...

Haha, the next people I'm going to exploit are Renton and Raleb. No, that's not their real names, but I don't think they'd like their names on my blog... Hannah and I just call them that because they hold resemblance to those people. Well actually, Raleb looked like a combination of Roman Duke and Caleb.... if they ever got together and had a kid..... Hence the name. (roman = super nerd --- caleb = poofy curly hair) Raleb was a total a total freak. Each time he saw me he's be like, "Oooooooooh!!!" and I'd be like "FREAK."

Then there was the girl who looked like Posh. (ya know, from the spice girls?) Yeah, except her hair was black, other than that she was a spitting image. I also saw someone who looked a lot like Luke Durden, except cooler, more down to earth, and waaaayyyy nicer. I almost started a mosh pit with him. Seriously.

And then there was these random awesome musicians who like PWNED everything. This one dude named Daniel like did some awesome DragonForce riffs. I almost died in the church pew. Even though he looked kinda like Ray Toro from MCR, I think my heart just might have gone a little weak for him. Haha, I have a soft spot for guys that play metal music.

Ah, and last but not least there was this really cute guy whom I admired from afar. If you've seen the movie the Outsiders, I guess I'd describe him as a Ponyboy and Johnny combination. The trademark Johnny eyes, and tan were more dominant, but he had the Ponyboy jawline and mouth. Man, was he cute. He was kinda quite among his little group of friends, and seemed a little distant, but lordy when he smiled..... I thought my heart was going fall into my stomach.

We almost sat in the same pew together, but some buttheads stole his seat when he was up and they wouldn't move. >.<'

Of course, there was more to camp than the people. We had awesome speakers, a great live band, and air conditioning! Well, to be more specific we only had air conditioning for the last three days of camp, but still! At least we were chilled towards the end!

There were also some seminars, and I signed up for the media one hoping that I would learn something new about computers, but unfortunately I think I might've known more about computer graphics than the instructor did. Haha, it's sad when that happens. I didn't want to seem like a total show off, so I didn't say anything about it to the instructor when he made some mistakes in photoshop.

All in all, camp was sweaty and fun. I probably should have been more social than I actually was, but hey, maybe next year I can rope more friends into coming along!

I might be home

Well, if I timed it right, I should be arriving, or already at home from camp. Here are some of my predictions:
  1. I will be TAN. Heck, I'll actually look Filipino.
  2. Bug bites will consume every bit of my skin.
  3. My hair will be incomprehensibly gross.
  4. I'll have made some new friends.
  5. My clothes will never be the same again.
  6. Even without realizing it, I'll have gained(or) lost 5lbs.
  7. Sweat will be my new nemesis.
  8. My appreciation for water will increase.
  9. Warm showers will no longer be taken for granted.
  10. Fast food will seem close to heaven after a week of camp food.
Haha, lets see how many of my predictions will come true!!

If I was a...(#5)

Hey, you're still tuning in? That's great! Welcome to part five of If I was a...

Today's post is written by a close friend of mine, Bekka who has a blog of her own called MinisculeRaindropOfSilence.

Hopefully it won't be terribly embarrassing......

-----------------------------------------------------
.:Lizzi's Spectacular Career Options-According to Bekka, her most trusted Lamby Friend:.

Hmm, well hello readers of Lizzi's blog..er Spazz's blog! This is Bekka speaking to you here, and I have come by a request made by Lizzi to make a 'guest post' on her wondrous blog!!

I find this to be a HUGE, and some would say EPIC honor :)

Anyways, let me stop babbling and get on with why I am really here.

To talk about Lizzi and her strange career options.

At first, my mind instantly turned to Art when she asked me what I thought she should be in her pre-recluse years. Yet she had already covered those bases, so I had to really take a moment to think about this situation.

Then, [I really hope she doesn't think this is stupid 'cause I thought it was pretty cool...] it hit me!! She sometimes talks about raves and mosh pits, and don't even get her started on music O.o

I have never met anyone who knows music/pop culture like Lizzi. No joke, and I have met A LOT of people in my 13 years.

Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that she should consider being a.....

*drumroll*

RAVE DJ PERSON!!!!!

I mean think about it for a sec!!

She could bring new, and not well known music artists to clubs and raves and stuff and she would have the most amazing collection of music EVER!!! Then! People would fall in love with her unique and amazing taste in music that she would become famous and earn the money to buy an island for her mom!!!!!!

:D

It's brilliant!

Yes, Lizzi I know you are probably reading this and either shaking your head, muttering 'loser' or laughing...hopefully laughter!

Well, yeah...thats it haha

Goodbye dear readers!!!

...and this has been a special edition of Bookish Spazz brought to you by BEKKA!

;] later.

If I was a...(#4)

Hey, welcome back to the Fourth installment of If I was a...

If you haven't already checked out the previous posts in the series, you should definitely go see them!

Today I wanted to discuss the pros and cons of being a therapist. Let's face it, it's a job that most people couldn't handle. Listening to peoples problems, and trying to advise them isn't the easiest of jobs, yet I seem to do it on a daily basis with my family.

Heck, after all that consoling I have to go to a counselor of my own! However, it makes me happy when I can advise people, or help them in some way.

In fact, with most people, all they need is someone to talk to. Sometimes I pride myself on being a good listener. Sometimes.

Other times I get really reclusive. I don't really like talking about my personal life to others, and when I do it's very little. Actually, I only tell about 20% of my life to my friends. It's sad but true.

The weird thing is, even though I don't like opening up to others, they seem to like opening up to me. I dunno, maybe it's because I just sit there and listen. Who knows?

Also, it's very interesting to learn about the human mind and how it works! not to mention the pay is great.

I don't know. It certainly would be something to consider.

If I was a...(#3)

Welcome to part three of If I was a...

If you haven't check out the two previous posts in the series I'd advise you to do so!

In celebration to National Fairy Day, I'm going to do a fairy themed post!

Today I'm going to discuss the pros and cons of being a Fae. Well, let's start out with the most obvious. I wouldn't be able to wear iron anymore!! And as much as I love metal chains and whatnot that would certainly be a predicament.

No more junk food or synthetic fibers! No siree! Not only do those things sicken fairies, it harms them greatly. All foods must be all natural and contain no chemicals. I guess that rules out milk you get from the grocery store. All clothes must be of natural material, like cotton, wool, hemp, silk, or any other form of clothing like that.

However, I would be able to join in with mother nature as a whole, and enjoy the natural side of life. A carefree life where I would never have to worry about taxes, or bills, Ah! To live a life like that would certainly be desirable.

For more information on National Fairy Day click here.

If I was a...(#2)

Welcome to the second part of If I was a....

If you haven't already checked out part [1] I'd advise you to do so!

Today I'm going to discuss the pros and cons on if I was a Graphic Designer.

Well, a graphic designer can do many things. They can design buildings, clothes, websites, toys. I mean let's face it! The possibilities are endless if you know you're way around the digital world!

However, the only downside is it's like being an artist in a way. You have to build up your reputation and credibility. It is, on the other hand a tad more stable. Now, I'm not claiming to know everything, but if I'm correct you can sign on with a construction company, or animation studio that would pay you by the hour.

So, I guess in my perspective it would provide more financial stability. The only thing I would be sacrificing would be my artistic range and freedom. Unlike a freelance artist, I would have to follow orders from a company, and tailor my abilities to what they want.

But hey, it's not like I don't do that already in art class. Whenever we work on a project we have to do it in a specific way. We can employ our own styles, but we're graded on it anyways going by the teacher's opinion.

Either way, it's a decent job. One that could make me quite happy if I'm working with the right people.

If I was a...(#1)

Ok, so seeing as I'll be at camp for the next couple of days, I've decided to compile some posts to keep you readers entertained :]

Welcome the the first installment of If I was a...
I decided to do these posts as a type of reconciliation to myself because for all my life I've wanted to be a trauma nurse....or well at least since the second grade, and just this year I've started to have doubts on whether or not that was what I wanted to do.

So now I've decided to weigh my options in order to make some decisions about things. Today I'm going to discuss the pros and cons on if I was a Cartoonist/Artist.

Well, compared to most other careers it certainly would be one that I'd enjoy. The only problem would be the money.

I mean, come on. Ever heard the term 'Starving Artist'? It's so true I don't know if I should consider it a cliche or not.

The truth of the matter is, you can't live luxuriously on the salary of an artist unless you're really famous or popular.

However, if you're an artist it's not like you work for the money anyways. You work for the satisfaction that you made something, and that something was magnificent and great. The thought that your artwork might have brought a smile to someone's face, or changed someone's life.

Mainly, being an artist is a selfish job. Now, before you jump up and go HEY! Hear me out. If I chose that path I would be doing it to please me, and only me. If I ever had a family I wouldn't be able to support them without any fear of financial instability. It's the harsh truth. Unless you live in some perfect world, most artists don't have a consistent cash flow. One month you might make $2,000, but then for the next four months not sell a thing.

Also, it takes a while to get yourself established. Many people can admire art, but few actually go out and buy it. You can claim to be a fan of Picasso, but do you own any of his paintings? You may say you like the style of Selena Fenech, but do you own any of her prints?

See my point? People don't have the money to spend on art. To sell anything worth value you've got to mold yourself to the public. One moment abstract is in season, the next it's all about realism. Art is not for those who wish to make money. It is for those who enjoy living by their imagination.

Currently I'm not sure if that's what I want to do. Ah, well come by tomorrow to see the next career post.

Another Change?

I don't know. I'm just not that sure. I think I'm going to change up my blog layout again....

Those patterns above are some of the color choices I've wanted to experiment with. I'm really quite obsessed with vintage themes for some odd reason.

I told one of my friends about how I was going to change up my layout, and they pointed out to me that's I've changed my layouts at least 4 times this year. Sad isn't it?

Haha, I guess I'm just that type of a person. Ya know, the person that rearranges their furniture all the time.... yeah that's me.

Well, whatever changes I'm going to make, it's going to have to wait till after I get back from camp. Oh yeah, I pre-typed some of the posts, about stuff.... and yeah. They're set to go off every day while I'm gone. Hopefully Blogger won't screw it up.

Asking too much

I'm sorry L. Especially sorry that last night you were bombarded by questions that were too awkward to answer. Not to mention, it was supposed to be game board night.

To think! It was bad enough that I was asking you stupid question after stupid question, but to be bombarded by 4 chicks at the same time? You got it pretty harsh.

I think the worst questioner would have to have been Mary, who seemed like she was trying to hit on you. The whole entire time I was laughing in my head, trying not to loudly point that out to everyone.

The second worst would have to be Bekka. I saw those uncomfortable looks....don't think I didn't!

The third worst would have to be me, for asking you all those pointless questions about the pink ponies and unicorns.....and questioning your.....er straightness? I dunno, but yeah those questions were pretty darn pointless.

The best questioner would have had to be Alina(who had really pretty hair that night), because she asked mostly sensible things.

ALSO! HAHA!! I BEAT YOU AT BATTLESHIP!!!! Mwhahahaaa! You were kinda creepy though.... Every turn you'd have this weird evil genius look on you're face and plus, you'd take forever to make a decision.

Jeez dude, it's just a game! Haha, yeah. BTW, like the little Myspace flyer I made? It's frighteningly bright isn't it?

Meat = Tasty Murder

Yeah, I know. Really shtty of me to use that title, but hey It's true.

I recently got verbally attacked by a member of PETA, who said I was morally and ethically incorrect. Can you say hypocrite? Is burning down animal shelters morally right? Is destroying and stealing other's property ethical?

I think not.

Honestly, I have nothing against Vegans, or Vegetarians. In fact, I'm on an advisory board and some of the members happen to be Vegan. They respect the fact that I eat meat, and drink milk just as I respect the fact that they don't.

However, I think that comparing someone to a communist crosses the line. Just because I think burgers are tasty doesn't mean I kill Jews. Hell, I'm a fourth Jewish!

Is that all PETA has? Comparing meat eaters to communists? Jeez, Clinton and Obama eat meat, so I guess that means their communists too.

Heck, why don't we go as far as saying that over half the world is nothing but meat eating ruffians. The bottom line is, I'll respect your lifestyle if you respect mine.

Busy busy busy

The crap has hit the fan, and now it's time to clean it up.

I've been procrastinating for a while about a bunch of things like camp, and my library duties, and my family, and even worse, my art!

It's now time to stop. I'm going to pack for camp tonight, do the remainder of my laundry, and try to sort out everything for the library.

On a lighter note, I finally finished the first book on my list Beastly by Alex Flinn. I must say it was a very well written book.

Even though it was just a newer, revamped version of Beauty and the Beast, it kept me hooked until the very end. It was a romance, that was very sweet and at the weirdest of times, tugged at your heartstrings.

Yeah, I know. Not really my type of book, but I'm a major sucker for fairy tales.... just like how I'm a sucker for lovers. So sweet. So sappy. If it ever happened to me I'd probably puke.

So yeah, definitely a book I'd recommend.

Because eventually people were going to find out

A picture says a thousand words, and in this case all I've got to say is--- WTF?

Yes, that is my friend Celery, wearing Madonna boobs that I made out of his German homework.

I always knew he had issues, but I didn't know it went this far. I was planning to wait and save this as blackmail, but since then I have acquired something even juicier that involves hair.

By the way Celery, you really do have a nice mom. I accidentally called her last night at 10:30, and I must say she really isn't the naggy btch you made her out to be. She's very sweet, or at least she was on the phone. You can kill me when school starts back up :P

Oh! And yes, that is a boy, and yes I do call him Celery in real life.

Another day, Bookishly spent

Ah yes, today I worked another day at the library. It was nice and calm, and totally free of rude ladies. I helped shelve some books with Bekka, who shared the same shift as me.

Like I previously stated, it was a pretty calm day. My shift was only three hours, and it ended at 3pm, but I stayed an hour and a half later to pick out some books to read.

While I was picking out books I saw L! It was really weird, and he claimed to only be there because of his kid brother. Whatever L, we all know you like to read Jane Austen!!! Haha, just kidding...maybe.

Anyways, I picked out ten books, and I intend on reading them in a certain order. Why? Well I have the horribly inconvenient habit of reading 4 or more books at the same time, and it always takes me forever to finish them.

So this summer I decided to break myself of that habit and make a list. That way I'll be able to read things one at a time. I'm not saying that it's going to work, but I'm going to try to make it work. Here's my list, in the order I plan on following.

  1. Beastly - Alex Flinn
  2. Jack the Ripper (graphic novel)
  3. Heavy Metal and You - Chris Krovatin
  4. Hopeless Saveges Vol. 1 (graphic novel)
  5. The Hunter's Moon - O.R. Melling
  6. Joker - Ranulfo
  7. ChaseR - Micheal Rosen
  8. Marly's Ghost: a remix of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol
  9. The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy & Gothgirl - Barry Lyga
  10. The Ring 1 (graphic novel)

Father's Day

Well Dad, it seems that we've reached a point. A point where you can no longer hold my hand in a protective manner while we walk through stores. A point where you can no longer buy me dolls and toys. But don't worry Dad. I've gotten older, and maybe a tad bit smarter, and even though I'm always making mistakes, I know you'll be there to help.

Happy Father's Day.

Who is L?

Many people wonder who L is.

Well this is him.

Unlucky Baby

Happy Birthday Kimberly.

When you were born the only child glory ended for me. Angels didn't sing, but I distinctly remember an obese man falling down the stairs and crushing a group of boy scouts.

Yes, you were born on the infamous Friday the 13th. The day when all chaos and evil was released into the world, and also the day a jury sentenced Timothy McVeigh to the death penalty for his part in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

You also share the same birthday as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, whereas I share a birthday with Adam Brody. Weird right?

Well, even though you've been a total pain in the pancreas since day one, Happy Birthday little sis.

Library, oh library.

How I love volunteering. Today seemed unusually short. I mean, time passed pretty quickly for shelving books, which I might add is the most boring job on the face of the planet.

It turns out that I'm working with a guy named Tobya (I think that's how you spell it). He's pretty cool I guess. Haha, he's a total genius! 14, and already going into the 10th grade! Can you believe that? Also, he apparently plays the cello and is on the math/science team.

I guess time passed so well because most of the time we talked. We talked a whole bunch about books.....well duh! We were at the Library.

I just now realized that I won't be able to work my first Monday due to the fact that I'm going to be at camp!..... Oh, well sorry 'bout that Bekka. I'm afraid you're gonna have to stick it out on your own!

Goodies

Ah, I've worked hard on this! Like the new layout?

I spent a total of three hours customizing the colors, adding the search widget, and the dropdown bar.

PHEW!! I've got to give a big thanks to Chingy, who pre made this template and allowed to to tweak, customize, and mold it. I owe you bunches! Can't wait to see you again next month!

Also, I'd like to thank all the people from the hack forum. Without you guys teaching me, and helping me I would have never been able to complete this.

Yes, I know there are some little bugs that need working out, like how the columns aren't aligned perfectly, but that can wait till later. I'm just glad that I got the worst done and over with.

NO SHORTS,only capris

Ah, today was fun fun. We went shopping for my sister's birthday presents, and also for some of my camp gear.

I can guarantee that I'm properly fitted for a week in Louisiana. I have bug wipes, sun screen, and enough bug spray to protect the Spanish armada from the treacherous mosquitoes.

Melissa, God help her, tried to convince me to get some shorts, but I adamantly stuck to my choice of capris. Believe me, when you've got ugly legs like mine they should be kept under as much cloth as possible.

Not that my legs are absolutley horrible, it's just I've got calve muscles like a boy (much to other's surprise).

Man, all those leg and thigh muscle exercises seem to be paying off! Now all I need is some upper body strength and rock hard abs and then I'm set to go! However, seeing as how I'm not the athletic type it's gonna take a while until I get a gym membership or something.

But as for now, I'll have to cover up my man muscles and horrible tan line. Yeah, did I mention the horrible tan line I have on my legs? I look like a multi skin colored icepop. Uh huh, it's that bad.

It only makes me thank God even more that he invented the Bikini and Summer at the same time. Thank you, thank you so very much for blessing me with these man legs.

Enough to last a lifetime.

Yes, well today I went through a bit of awkwardness with my stepmom.

We talked about the gynecologist. And of the HPV shot. And of pap smears. And of the pill.

It wouldn't have been so bad if she wasn't so ok about it. In fact, I think I would have liked for her to be a bit apprehensive about putting me on the pill, because in all truth birth control scares me.

I mean, it's not so much scary like OMIGAWD I'M GONNA DIE, it's scary like HOLY CRAP my dad's gonna know whether or not I'm sexually active.

And as awkward as it is, I'd rather just avoid it. Man, it must suck for my dad, knowing that he has three daughters. All of which are strait(i hope....) Which means GIRL + BOY = BABY

So of course, grandchildren would mean that his babies are sexually active, which I think the fact that he knows that might send him to an early grave.

Ah, poor daddy. At least he knows that Kimberly, even though she's younger than me, will pop out a kid far before I even consider thinking about kids. Haha, jk jk.

I don't think I want to deal with kids of my own until I'm waaaaaaaayyyy older. And even then, I only want two..... preferably twins :]

That way, if one of them is gay I'd have a back up child to make me grandbabies! Woooo! Go advanced planning!

Fate, my newfound friend

Well, as it seems, the universe just likes pointing in my face and going, "HA! Don't underestimate me! I'll make you eat your words!!"

So, yes. If everything goes as planned I will be forever indebted to you Fate. Thank you again best friend.

Four years of experience

This was a short interview I did with my baby sister, who is a major drama queen. Be warned, she is only four! Haha, enjoy.

BkshSpz: So Stephanie, how are you today?

Steph: MY NAME IS SARAH!!

BkshSpz: Er, well ok then. How are you today Sarah?

Steph: NO! I CHANGE MY MIND!! It's ALEX!!!!

BkshSpz: Ok then I-

Steph: I HATE FRANKIE!! She's my friend.

BkshSpz: Oh, well did you two get into a fight?
Steph: No, she's just really-- I think she's bad.

BkshSpz: Why do you say that?

Steph: SHE'S REALLY BAD!!! SHE MAKES GRANDMA SO ANGRY! SHE EATS EVERYTHING!!!

BkshSpz: Oh, well I guess I can relate to that. How do you---

Steph: I HAVE TO GO POTTY!!!!

BkshSpz: Then go to the bathroom.

Steph: But I don't NEED A BATH. I HAVE TO GO P O T T Y!!!!!

The future freaks me out

Maybe I should start investing in stock?

Maybe I should make some goals for summer?

I think I'll do the latter.

  1. Get out more
  2. Meet new people
  3. Be more understanding
  4. Cry during a movie
  5. Redesign blog
  6. Wash my face more
  7. Eat less Twizzlers

Dear me, oh my

I'm late! I'm late, I know!

I was planning on posting this earlier under the title : Because sometime grown-ups can be forgetful, but as you see it didn't really work out.

As my fingers were poised to start typing yesterday, my friend Hannah called up and asked if I could come over early, which of course totally screwed up my schedule causing me to miss a day of posting.

On the bright side, I finally learned how to tread water. Woo!! Finally I accomplished something for the summer! Also, it helped me forget and blow off some steam about an incident that day. I'll elaborate. Beware: past this point I cannot guarantee that the language will be so mild.

Ok, so originally I had planned on volunteering over the summer at the public Library. Mainly I did it so I would be able to stay in touch with my friend Bekka, who also volunteers, but after the experience I went through I'm having second guesses.

Around noon I arrived at the library and headed to the children's section to speak to the coordinator. Well, it turns out that she wasn't there so I asked this one scary monotoned lady that seems to have memory issues.

I Swear! Every time I go there when I'm not working she acts like she doesn't know me, yet during my shift she seems to magically remember my name and who I am.
So anyways, I asked her if she had the schedule and knew my shift. She goes in the back, pulls out some papers and asks, "So what's your name again?" and I'm all like "bookish.spazz.... I worked here last summer with Bekka....."

I see my name on the form, and Bekka's name too, but the scary lady just says "Unfortunately, I can't find your name on the schedule. Are you sure you signed up?" and I'm all like, Bullsht! I saw my freakin name of the form!!

So I leave for ten minutes until the coordinator comes back. I think, Ok, maybe theres a reason why she's lying to me. Maybe she just hates me. Dunno. I walk back over to the children's section and ask if the coordinator is there, and as it turns out she is!

Then the scary lady comes up to me and says some crap about how she didn't recognize me, and she skipped over my name and sht, and I'm all like, Whatever lady. I don't give a fck about your stupid excuses.
By now I was throughly pissed that they lied, and to top it off I find out that the screw up my schedule by putting Rebekka and me on different days! How freakin peachy is that? Well you know what scary lady, F U C l< YOU!

Oh, BTW Bekka, if she hasn't told you yet you're working on Thursday from 10-12 with Gayrod Fox, and Tiarra. Sorry 'bout that.

Last day of school

I must say I'm a bit dissapointed by the fact that next year I'm going to a new building.

Ah, oh well. It'll be nice to get a fresh new start.

Haha.

Well L, it seems as If I won't blog about you today, don't worry I'll blog about you during the summer!!

Hey, anyone doing anything Saturday? My parents are going out of town and they want to get rid of me.... So yeah call me up. Or email me :]

Favorably Unfavorable

Well, today was extra eye opening. I just experienced firsthand (again) what stereotyping can do to you.

Why is it that the stuck up snot nosed stick up their butt kids can get away with being rude and not get in trouble, while I just open my mouth and instantly get called out? Is it because I don't like to wear preppy Abercrombie? Is it because of the people I hang out with? Is it because I think about things other than who texted who last weekend?

I mean honestly, just because you're friends with the teacher's daughter/son does not mean you get any advantage over anyone else. It's not ethnically right to do that. Personally I would have no problem with it if it weren't so bad, but when you let someone get away with bad behavior in the classroom JUST BECAUSE they're one of your daughters friends that's where I start to draw the line.

Yesterday I was taking one of my exams when I heard some people talking. At first I just ignored it. People talk during tests and stuff all the time, so why does it matter? Then I hear one of the people who had finished their test sigh really loudly.

There were still about five other students still working on their exam, and it seemed as if she was having a hard time holding in her sighs. I think she sighed really loudly about another five times before the teacher was all like, "Cut that out!"

My initial reaction to the whole thing wasn't really shock, but maybe a bit of anger that the teacher didn't get onto earlier. What pisses me off is that people like Shelby Sault....whatever her name is can get away with things like that, and I get in trouble for something stupid like saying "Yeah" instead of "Yes ma'am".

Is that fair? I mean, not only was the whole ordeal very rude towards those who were still taking the tests, it was also very distracting.

Ah, just another reason why I dislike most preppy people.

Thank you Jesus, son of bhudda

OH MY GOSH.

I checked my inbox this morning and I saw that I had a comment from Jason Thibault, one of the guys from Op. Wound!

Do you know how honored I feel? One one the coolest people on the web saw my blog. I feel so humbled and well.....I dunno. I'm just in awe.

Since I was so drunk off of happiness this morning I decided to wear a tutu all day during school. It was quite amusing since it was an exam day, and I think I was a distraction. According to my knowledge, I've boosted my social status from "the weird girl who wore those bright highlighter tights" to "the weird girl who wore those tights and the tutu".

Frankly, I'm quite proud of myself for doing something as bold as that. Haha, special thanks goes out to Savannah for letting me wear it :]

Ah, today we've got an exterminator coming because we seemed to have acquired a dead animal in our attic. Oh joys. I just adore dead little rodents! Hey, maybe I can go to the library today while we're out. I think I'm going to be out for a while so my dad can get rid of the funky dead animal smell. Ew. As much as I like eating dead cows and chickens, I'm not too fond of their cousins or distant relatives of the animal family.

Apparently, I seem to have a thing for

Funny Guys. Yep they're awesome to hang around, I guess. Dunno.

gURL.comI took the "lover boy" quiz on gURL.com
He is...
George Burns

When it comes to cracking jokes, is Lover Boy the king? Can he make anyone smile? If so, it seems like George Burns would have been proud of this guy. You might only think of George Burns as that really old guy with the cigar, but he was young once too...

gURL.comI took the "Shakespearean romance" quiz on gURL.com
my romance type is...
COMEDIC

Do you and your sweetie make each other laugh? Is your relationship full of silliness and joking? If so, you would fit into the cast of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, where couples comically romp through an enchanted forest in search of love. Read more...

What's your Shakespearean romance type?

I dunno. I guess I'm destined to always like funny guys. Haha yeah, the bad boys are overrated anyways...lol. Bad ones are more likely to run out on you without an explanation.
